HERE IS A RARE VINTAGE TRUMPET FROM 1925.I WILL DESCRIBE.IT IS A COUESNON& CIE MADE IN PARIS. All of this occurred prior to my owning it, and I'm only deducing what was done) 36. The lead pipe has mouthpiece scratching and finish wear. The bell has had a major repair with incomplete re-finish. The finger hook mount has been repaired and shows finish wear. Happy bidding and good luck!Īddendum 3/4/13: I have added a few clearer photos. I haven't the time to go that route, so this will be a steal for someone finding this on eBay. And this vintage piece could fetch more from a knowledgeable collector. New trumpets could sell for as much as $2500 and up. I'm starting at a low price with NO RESERVE. This takes some getting used to but is awesome. I have included an asymmetric custom mouthpiece for screeching. The character of these earlier brass instruments is tremendous, sort of like comparing vinyl LPs to CDs, or transistor stereos to tube amplifiers. The tone and responsiveness are excellent. This brand has a fascinating history of manufacture(google it) I haven't used this very much for working, since I have others. Up for auction is my vintage Couesnon brass B flat trumpet.
